More than 20 Chinese and foreign little chefs appeared in the "Silk Road Craftsman" International Skills Competition Western Cooking Competition

The western cooking competition of “Belt Road Craftsman” (Beijing) International Skills Competition, which was sponsored by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and organized by Jinsong Vocational High School, ended with success in Changying Campus, Jinsong Vocational High School in June 2019. Eight contestants from Russia Altai Hotel Management School, Russia Food Technology & Design Institute, Uzbekistan Samarkand Professional Food College, Russia Tula Food Production Technical School, Russia Irkutsk College of Architecture and Russia Nizhny Tagil College of Business & Economics and 14 contestants from Beijing Fengtai Vocational High School, Beijing Yanqing No.1 Vocational School, Beijing Xincheng Vocational School and Jinsong Vocational High School competed in two programs, i.e., designated dish and optional dish respectively.

    From this competition, contestants not only experienced the exchange between different cooking cultures, but also got a golden chance for display and study, which stimulates their inspiration and enthusiasm for competition. The School will continue to provide more opportunities for students to increase their core vocational quality. With this competition, students have become clearer about their future while broadening their horizons, displaying their skills and increasing their confidence.
