Cooperation Scheme for “One Belt, One Road” International Film & Television Major Training Program

With the constant promotion of the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative, the cultural industries exchanges among different countries along the “One Belt, One Road” route has become more important than ever. On the afternoon of December 5, 2016, President Xi Jinping chaired the 30^th Conference of the Central Leading Group for Deepening Reform Comprehensively. The Guidance on the Strengthening of “One Belt, One Road” Soft Power Construction was ratified through deliberation. As pointed out in the meeting, “soft power plays a pivotal role in boosting the construction of “One Belt, One Road” Initiative. We should intensify the construction of international communication ability to provide efficient theoretical support, public support and cultural conditions for the construction of “One Belt, One Road” Initiative. Comrade Xi Jinping pointed out that “an industry without cultural support could hardly sustain for long”. Culture is definitely critical to the construction of the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative.
